Kolmar Korea records net loss in Q4

Kolmar Korea Co. announced on Tuesday that it experienced a net loss of 43.3 billion won ($32.5 million) in the fourth quarter, remaining in a negative financial position compared to the same period last year. 

The company's operating income for the October-December quarter reached 37.8 billion won, representing a significant increase of 337.9 percent from the previous year, as stated in a regulatory filing. Additionally, sales for the quarter grew by 15.2 percent, reaching 551.6 billion won.

In a separate report, Kolmar disclosed its 2023 net income of 25.6 billion won ($19.2 million), marking a positive turnaround from a loss of 4.1 billion won reported in the preceding year. 

The company also highlighted that its operating income for the entire year registered an 86.4 percent increase compared to the previous year, amounting to 136.6 billion won. Annual sales for 2023 saw a rise of 15.5 percent, reaching 2.15 trillion won.
