Heavy and energy industries conglomerate Doosan Group showcased futuristic technologies ranging from non-carbon energy solutions to autonomous heavy equipment at the CES 2024 in Las Vegas on Monday, a day before its official opening.

Doosan Bobcat Vice Chairman Scott Park, Kim Do-won, president and chief strategy officer at Doosan Group, and Doosan Enerbility Vice President Song Yong-jin attended a press conference to share the group's key products and services.

Doosan Bobcat, Doosan Group’s construction equipment manufacturing unit, unveiled AT450X, the unmanned and electric articulated tractor powered by artificial intelligence, for the first time. It also showed a full-electronic skied loader S7X, an autonomous tract loader RogueX2, and a robot lawn mower.

Doosan Enerbility shared its plans to develop non-carbon total energy solutions using hydrogen turbines, small modular reactors and wind power. In particular, it vowed to launch the world’s first 400-megawatt large-scale hydrogen gas turbine by 2027.

Doosan Group’s US subsidiary HyAxiom introduced a proton exchange membrane water electrolysis system, which extracts green hydrogen through a chemical decomposition process by passing an electric current through water.

Doosan Robotics showcased a collaborative robot running on Oscar the Sorter, a waste sorting solution that can sort paper cups, plastic containers, and cans. The company said its Dart Suite software platform enables consumers to use the program easily as if playing with a smartphone.

Doosan Group runs a 780-square-meter booth at the event. The company said Doosan Group Chairman Park Jeong-won, Vice Chairman Park Ji-won and other company executives will attend the exhibition to learn the latest technology trends and gain insights on business strategies.
