South Korea’s e-commerce platform builder cafe24 said on July 11 that it has launched an artificial intelligence-powered one-stop solution for online store management.
Even those engaged in a one-person business can create and design a website, sell products online, catch up with the market trends and go global, simply with a few clicks, drags and drops, according to top officials of cafe24.
The system is a combination of online store builder solution Smart Mode and AI-based product page editor Edibot, among others.

“Any one-person business owners like social influencers can run a flagship store online” said cafe24 CEO Lee Jae-suk during the event “Influencers Lead E-Commerce: From Sharing Content to Successful Brands.” Cafe24 hosted the event attended by some 1,500 participants in Seoul.
“All (social influencers) would do is to concentrate on their creativity and talent.”
With the new system launched in June, e-commerce platform operators can apply and adjust website design settings based on some 14,000 samples, according to cafe24 AI Platform Development Head Jeong Sang-du. Also, the product can appear on not only the original website but also their social network accounts and 12 domestic e-commerce platforms in Korea.
The website operator can do flash sales with other functions such as page banner maker Smart Banner and pop-up maker Smart Popup.
The remarks came along with speeches by mega-social media personalities, such as Dotty, founder of multichannel network Sandbox Network; Jess, CEO of women’s resort-wear brand Love Me Most; Go Bambi, CEO of cosmetics brand Ohiohoo; and Nancy, CEO of online clothing store Nancyrella.
