LG Electronics said on Feb. 20 it will exhibit a trio of budget smartphones during next week’s MWC Barcelona 2019, along with its two premium devices, to appeal to a wide range of customers.

The Korean tech giant said it will showcase Q60, K50 and K40, which are equipped with artificial intelligence-enabled cameras and a button for Google’s virtual assistant.

The smartphones have bezel-less displays ranging from 5.7 inch to 6.26 inch, and come with immersive audio format, DTS:X, the company said.

Prices of the handsets haven’t been confirmed yet, but they are expected to cost around 300,000 won (US$267) and 400,000 won, a company official said.

“The cost-effective smartphones focus on key functions, such as camera and battery, to improve convenience in the multimedia environment,” LG said in a release.

As premium smartphones, like Apple’s iPhones and Samsung‘s Galaxy S series, easily cost more than US$1,000, LG has been exploring ways to better position itself in the global market to revive its sluggish mobile business.
