[THE INVESTOR] South Korean cosmetics giant Amorepacific’s organic skincare brand Innisfree opened a new store in Melbourne, the third of its kind in Australia.

It comes six months after the company has opened the first store in Australia, amid local consumers’ increasing interest toward the K-beauty and organic cosmetics, the company said.

The new Innisfree store is located on the first floor at Australia’s the largest shopping mall Chadstone Shopping Centre.

The company said the store is decorated with Innisfree’s environmentally friendly atmosphere, as well as the concept of natural ingredients from Jeju Island.

Customers can try some 650 Innisfree products ranging from skin care products to beauty tools at the store, according to the company.

“We will continue to promote Innisfree’s organic value and the product’s affordable price to customers overseas,” said an Innisfree official, hinting at the opening of the first store in Canada next year.

Established in 2000, Innisfree has a prescense in 13 countries including China, Hong Kong, India and US. As of December, the number of overseas Innisfree stores came at 667.
