[THE INVESTOR] NCSoft’s earnings next year will be a record high, said Hanwha Investment and Securities on Nov. 28 maintaining a “buy” recommendation and raising the target price to 650,000 won (US$575.17) from 550,000 won.
Its revenue will leap 27 percent from this year to 2.2 trillion won and operating profit by 35 percent to 874 billion won. Its games, including “PC Lineage,” are logging stable revenue and “Lineage 1” in particular will significantly boost its bottom line with a major remastering to celebrate the 20th anniversary, said analyst Kim So-hye.
It is also planning to unveil five new games from “Lineage 2M” in the second quarter next year as well as sequels of “Aion” and “Blade and Soul,” she added.
