[THE INVESTOR] Singapore-based Huobi, one of the world’s largest crypto asset exchanges, will hold Huobi Carnival, its first blockchain conference, in Seoul on Aug. 2-3.

Huobi Korea, the Korean unit that was launched in March, said more than 2,000 people, including industry experts, developers and investors, have signed up to join the two-day event.

More than 140 digital project teams will discuss the development of the blockchain industry, while Korean lawmakers and government officials will explore regulatory support for the nascent industry’s healthy growth.

Below are the key speakers and the agenda to be discussed.

Wu Jihan, CEO of Bitmain, who has more than 30 percent of the Bitcoin world’s computing power, will synchronize the listing of Bitcoin at the meeting.

Jin Hezhen, chairman of the Korean Blockchain Association, will express his views on how the media can help the exchanges develop compliance, and how the media can promote initial coin offerings in view of public interest.

Cui Junyong, CEO of China-Korea Fund, and Quan Hebin, chief blockchain analyst at Huobi Korea, will discuss bilateral ties between China and Korea on cross-border crypto trading and regulatory crackdowns by their governments.
