[THE INVESTOR] LG Electronics said on June 12 it has adopted around-the-clock chatbot service to enhance customers’ convenience.
LG’s chatbot service was based on its artificial intelligence platform called DeepThinQ and an analysis of about 10 million customer complaints about its products, the company said in a statement.
Customers are able to contact the webpage of
www.lgservice.co.kr through smartphones and PCs, and submit their complaints on LG products through the chatbot service around the clock, throughout the year. The service then will offer solutions to the problems, it said.
LG plans to introduce the chatbot service to better serve customers in the United States, Europe and Latin America by 2020, the statement said.
