[THE INVESTOR] Hyundai Motor on Nov. 8 unveiled the teaser image of the G90 flagship sedan under the independent brand Genesis ahead of its domestic launch later this month.
The G90 sedan is a face-lifted model of the EQ900. The EQ900 was launched in 2015 as successor to Hyundai’s Equus sedan.
The G90 will go on sale in Korea on Nov. 27. The company plans to accept preorders for the luxury sedan from Nov. 12, Hyundai said in a statement.
The G90 comes with three gasoline engine versions, the base being the 3.8-liter naturally aspirated mill, a 3.3-liter turbo, and a top of the line eight-cylinder 5.0-liter power plant. They are priced from 77 million won (US$68,700) to 119 million won.
