[THE INVESTOR] Samsung Electronics said on April 12 that sales of its premium QLED TVs are growing sharply in the United States.

The Korean tech giant said sales of the QLED TVs in the United States rose sevenfold on-year over the past four weeks after releasing new models in the market last month. Samsung did not provide detailed shipment figures.

Samsung said QLED TVs stand out from rivals as they are capable of delivering accurate color at various angles.

“The 2018 models of QLED TVs come with resolution-related know-how mastered by Samsung Electronics, which has been the world’s No. 1 player in the TV industry for 12 years in a row,” Samsung Electronics said. 

The company said not only do its TVs come with the best resolution, they also come with top-notch design and artificial intelligence technology, providing smarter experiences to users.
