[THE INVESTOR] Samsung Electronics said on March 5 its Galaxy S9 promotion centers in Korea attracted 1.6 million visitors in just five days after showcasing the flagship smartphone last week.
The tech giant has been operating Galaxy Studios at major places throughout the country after unveiling its latest flagship device in Barcelona, Spain.
The visitors are also able to create their own emojis by taking a selfie with the Galaxy S9, which can be shared through various mobile messenger programs.
The devices will officially hit shelves March 16 in major countries and gradually expand to other markets down the road.
