[THE INVESTOR] LG Electronics' upcoming flagship smartphone G6 is expected to have the largest-ever 3200mAh non-removable battery for the G series phones, ETnews reported on Feb. 15.
The larger battery comes as LG has decided to ditch the modular concept of its predecessor G5 after lukewarm sales.

With the non-removable battery, the G6 will feature the industry’s highest IP68 level of water- and dust-resistance. LG plans to unveil the phone at the Mobile World Congress trade show in Barcelona on Feb. 26.
Samsung Electronics' new flagship Galaxy S8 that will be unveiled in late March is rumored to feature 3000mAh and 3500mAh batteries for the 5.7-inch and 6.2-inch models, respectively.
