[THE INVESTOR] Tech giant Samsung Electronics is likely to showcase its new tablet PC, dubbed the Galaxy Tab S3, at the Mobile World Congress trade show that is scheduled to kick off in Barcelona on Feb. 27.
In an invitation sent out on Feb. 1 to the global media and its partners, Samsung said that it would take the wraps off its new Galaxy product in an event to be held on Feb. 26, a day before the official beginning of the mobile trade show.

The company did not specify what type of product it will unveil at the event, but is anticipated to be the Galaxy Tab S3 tablet PC.
The new device, which will succeed the Galaxy Tab S2 unveiled in August last year, is expected to feature the Android Nougat 7.0 operating system, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820 mobile processor, 4GB RAM, and internal memory options of 32GB and 64GB.

As previously revealed by Samsung mobile business chief Koh Dong-jin, the Korean tech giant will not unveil the upcoming Galaxy S8 smartphone during the trade show in Spain. Instead, it is said to be planning to launch the flagship smartphone in New York in March.
Although tech fans at the MWC will not be able to get hold of the much-awaited Galaxy S8, the Korean smartphone maker will likely disclose some images of the phone at the event and allow select partners get their hands on the device in a private meeting, sources said.
